About Me
I have been a licensed Maine Attorney for more than twenty years. I am a former Army officer, former prosecutor, and former defense attorney for the Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps. I cut my teeth as a new attorney by defending and prosecuting some of the most challenging felony cases available at some of the busiest court-martial jurisdictions in the Army. During those years, I prosecuted and defended cases ranging from simple misdemeanors to felony drug trafficking, burglary, robbery, government fraud, sexual assaults, domestic abuse cases, and manslaughter. I returned to Maine in 2008 and served in private practice for five years before serving several years as an administrator with LincolnHealth.
I ultimately returned to legal service because I missed serving clients and I missed trial work. I enjoy helping clients solve hard problems during some of the most challenging moments in life. If you or a loved one are facing a divorce, a child custody dispute, litigation over your business, or criminal charges, you will need an ally who takes the time to understand your challenges and works to protect you. I want to be your ally.
I enjoy trial work and I am not afraid to take a difficult case to trial. I will put in the extra work to find an edge for my clients in tough litigation. I enjoy the process of evaluating a case and preparing for trial. I enjoy interviewing witnesses, investigating crime scenes, examining forensic evidence, and reviewing case documents. If I represent you, you will know that your attorney is doing his homework to make sure that you have great representation.
